I checked the config and all the settings for the saw are enabled. I thought it was just facetious, but testing the modpack the crude saw is uncraftable. Every time I launch MC I get 10 error notifications saying "your crude saw has broke". On an unrelated note, I'm having an issue with the crude saw. For people like me that use 100+ mods, setup can be excruciatingly painful with such vast restrictions on config. Finally, a better UI like what Veinminer has for the configuration of tools and armor would prove to be extremely helpful in setting up this mod. Additionally, allowing the switching between a blacklist and a whitelist would also make configuration much easier for specific use cases.

Allowing the disabling of the no-vanilla tools and no-vanilla armor functions, at the very least for testing reasons, would make a lot of people happy and make setting up the mod much easier. However, I think the configuration of these settings could be tweaked to be much more user-friendly. I understand the purpose of the mod and the fact that it's supposed to replace vanilla and vanilla-like tools and armor. We also released the Tinkers' Survival Official Modpack! Enjoy. Major Features Punch a tree, craft a few items, done! This mod creates a very early game (first few nights) progression that leads directly into Tinkers' Construct tool making. Early game is pretty much non-existent in Minecraft.
